FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR

We finally got the approved permits to build the smoking room. Construction has started. Upon completion the furnishings will be provided thanks to the WOTM. The next project will be to paint the walls, replace the carpets and ceiling tiles in the Social Quarters. We will be asking for volunteers to help with much of this work. If you want to help please let me or the Governor know so we can plan accordingly. We want as little disruption of business as possible during this time period.
Moose International Convention is being held in Tampa again this year. Encourage anyone that has not had the opportunity to attend one of these to do so. A lot of interesting things go on at these events and you will meet a lot of wonderful Moose members from all over.
We will be hosting a 2-HOTT Training Class at the Lodge on 27 & 28 May. This will teach users how we use QuickBooks for our financial tracking and reporting and LCL which is our Moose membership reporting program. The cost to attend is $65 and is open to any that wish to participate.
Congratulations to the newly elected officers and a sincere and well deserved thank you to those retiring that have served the lodge faithfully which include Mike Walker, Vince Nichols, and Robb Banning. Let us all welcome those new officers and wish the retiring well and thanks for a job well done.
Brian Trundy, Administrator

FROM THE SOCIAL QUARTERS MANAGER

How Rrr Ya!
We still are having a problem with a few members using the “F” word and other bad language in the Social Quarters. No more warnings, the house committee has approved a fine of $1.00 first offense, $5.00 second offense, and third offense the offender will be cut off, asked to leave and be reported to the house committee for appropriate disciplinary action. Enough already!
Tuesday lunch and Sunday breakfast will be suspended as of June 1st and will return after Labor Day. The Saturday burger baskets are doing very well. Thank you to the cooks and servers that make this possible for the rest of us.
The 2nd Friday in May we will be doing Prime Rib and Shrimp and in June will return to steaks and shrimp.
See Ya later,
Sandy Jette
